There are many ways to give back to the society. Apart from the traditional fund raising for adopted charities, Tractors Singapore also sees the importance to groom the next generation of marine and offshore engineers in Singapore. In 2019, TSL started a 4-year bursary award fund with a local university, Singapore Institute of Technology, to help students from lower income families fund their education expenses.

To qualify for the award, recipients have to be a Singaporean or Permanent Resident pursuing an undergraduate program in either Marine Engineering or Offshore Engineering with the university. Upon graduation, recipients are not bonded to TSL, and are free to join a company of their choice.

A total of 8 students will benefit from the bursary over the 4-year period.
