Cat Command
Further from risk. Still in control.

Cat® Command lets operators do familiar work in an unfamiliar way: outside the machine.
From a portable console or a seated Command Station, they keep the control and feel of the cab while avoiding the hazards, noise and vibration that come with it.
Benefits of Cat Command

Enhanced Safety
Remote control keeps operators away from site hazards, dust, noise and vibration, and eliminates injury risks from climbing on and off the machine.

Increased Productivity
Restart production immediately after disruptive activities such as blasting, and speed up shift changes*. Operators also experience less fatigue, with the effects of vibration, noise and rough terrain eliminated.
* All machine safety procedures and maintenance checks should be performed as required by established standards and guideline

Maintain Control
Operators keep the same smooth, precise control they have in the cab, along with access to advanced machine features. If power or communications drop, built-in safety features shut the machine down automatically.

What Cat Command Users Said

Cargo Handling at Port
Associated Terminals, an American cargo handling and logistics company, uses Cat Command Stations to run wheel loaders and excavators from its headquarters.
Operators no longer work in dangerous environments like barge cargo holds, and each Cat Command station lets them switch between multiple machines at different locations, in some cases hundreds of miles apart.
Civil Works at Unpredictable Locations
SAIIA, an industrial and heavy civil contractor in northern Alabama, America, uses three Cat Command Stations at an ash pond site, where ground conditions turn unpredictable in the rain.
Operators run Cat excavators from a heated office trailer, avoiding the muddy trek to their machines and the risk of vehicles getting stuck.
